I am a professional traditional and digital artist with experience in vehicle, weapon, and character concept design. I also make props using many different techniques including found-parts, 3D printing, and paper props.
I have always been an artist, even in my youth, but it wasn't until after my time in the U.S. Marines that I thought of it as more than just a hobby. It started as my way of channeling trauma in a healthy way. It developed to the point of realizing that it is what I love to do and it makes me truly happy.
SciFi and Fantasy are my favorite subjects for my artwork, but am flexible and versatile with adapting to any genre or subject matter. I'm fascinated with all of the possibilities those genres have to offer.
My primary job was as a network architect and administrator. As a Sergeant, I managed up to 10 Marines under my charge. While deployed to Afghanistan, I was the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of the night shift LAN/WAN team, overseeing the expansion, implementation, and troubleshooting of unclassified, classified Secret, and NATO classified networks comprised of over 10,000 end users.
